Frequently asked

How quickly will I start getting leads?
It depends on demand in your area and how established the site becomes. We're actively marketing Devon Trades Direct locally so enquiries will grow over time. We're honest that it's a newer service — but your area is exclusive from day one, so there's no downside to signing up early.
What if I already get enough work?
That's great — but it won't always be the case. Signing up now locks out competition in your area permanently while you're a member. If work slows down, you already have a lead source in place. For £29/month, one job covers many months of fees.
Is the £99 setup fee refundable?
No — the setup fee covers getting your listing live, configuring your lead forwarding and locking your area. It's a one-off cost that isn't refundable. The £29/month subscription is separate and you can cancel that any time.
How do I cancel?
Just send us a WhatsApp or email. No notice period, no penalties. Your subscription ends at the close of your current billing month and you won't be charged again.
Can I cover more than one area?
Yes — additional areas are £15/month each. Each extra area is also exclusive to you for your trade. You can add or remove areas at any time by messaging us.
What trades do you cover?
Currently: plasterers, gardeners and lawn care, damp proofing and rendering, guttering and fascia, carpet fitters, painters and decorators, handymen, and tree surgeons. If your trade isn't listed, get in touch — we're always adding new categories.
How is payment taken?
Payment is by Direct Debit via GoCardless. The £99 setup fee is taken immediately when you sign up. The £29/month subscription is then collected automatically each month on your billing date.
