Terms & Conditions

Effective date: April 2025 · Last updated: April 2025  ·  Devon Trades Direct  ·

These terms set out the agreement between Devon Trades Direct ("we", "us") and any tradesperson ("you", "member") who subscribes to our lead generation service. Please read them carefully before signing up.

1. What Devon Trades Direct is

Devon Trades Direct is a local lead generation service. We market your trade to homeowners in your chosen area and forward enquiries directly to you via WhatsApp. We are not an agency, we do not take commission on jobs, and we do not guarantee any minimum number of leads.

2. What counts as a lead

A lead is an enquiry from a homeowner in your designated area who has expressed interest in your trade. A lead is considered delivered once we have forwarded the customer's contact details to you via WhatsApp. We are not responsible for whether the lead converts into a booking — that is between you and the customer.

We forward leads as they come in. We do not filter, qualify, or guarantee the quality of enquiries beyond ensuring they are from your designated area and trade category.

3. Exclusivity

Each membership covers one trade in one geographic area. Your area is exclusive — we will not sign up another member of the same trade in the same area while your membership is active. If you cancel, exclusivity ends and the area becomes available to others.

Additional areas can be added to your membership for £15 per area per month. Each additional area is also exclusive to you for that trade.

4. Pricing and payment

Payments are collected automatically each month on or around your sign-up date. If a payment fails we will contact you and allow 7 days to resolve before suspending your listing.

5. Setup fee — non-refundable

The £99 setup fee covers the cost of setting up your listing, configuring your lead forwarding, and onboarding your area. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if you cancel your membership shortly after signing up.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your membership at any time with no penalty. To cancel, message us on WhatsApp or email . Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing month — you will continue to receive leads until that date. No partial refunds are given for unused days in the final month.

We reserve the right to cancel your membership if:

7. Your responsibilities

As a member you agree to:

Devon Trades Direct is not liable for any disputes between you and a customer. Any complaints from homeowners about your work are your responsibility to resolve directly.

8. Our responsibilities

We will:

We do not guarantee a specific number of leads per month. Lead volume depends on demand in your area, which we cannot control.

9. Liability

Devon Trades Direct is a lead generation service only. We accept no liability for:

Our total liability to you in any circumstances is capped at the monthly subscription fee paid in the month the issue arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days notice of any material changes by email or WhatsApp. Continued membership after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Membership tiers

Devon Trades Direct offers three membership tiers. The terms below apply in addition to the general terms above.

14. Tier 1 — Leads only

Setup fee: £99 one-off. Monthly subscription: £29. This tier covers lead forwarding by WhatsApp and a listing on Devon Trades Direct. No website or domain is included.

15. Tier 2 — Leads + Website

Setup fee: £149 one-off. Monthly subscription: £35. In addition to everything in Tier 1, this tier includes a single-page website hosted on a Devon Trades Direct subdomain (e.g. tradename-area.devontradesdirect.co.uk).

16. Tier 3 — Leads + Website + Own Domain

Setup fee: £199 one-off. Monthly subscription: £49. In addition to everything in Tier 2, this tier includes a website on your own chosen domain.

17. Website content and updates

For Tier 2 and Tier 3 members, you are responsible for ensuring the content on your website is accurate, legal and not misleading. We reserve the right to remove or amend content that we believe is inaccurate, offensive or in breach of any law. We will notify you before making any such changes where possible.

18. Upgrading and downgrading tiers

You may request to upgrade your tier at any time. Upgrades take effect from your next billing date and require payment of the difference in setup fees. You may request to downgrade your tier with 30 days notice. If you downgrade from Tier 3 to Tier 2 or Tier 1, your standalone domain website will be taken down unless you request a domain transfer.
